Q Can I move the palace I've already built to Chatserve ? Yes - If you've already built a palace on another hosting service or on your home computer, you can move it to chatserve. After your account is established, you would use FTP to upload the following files... pserver.pat - also called the rooms file. This file contains the definitions of all of your rooms. Note - Depending on what operating system and what version of the palace servfer software your palace is currently running on, this file may also be named Pserver.pat, Pserver.dat or Pscript. All room pictures and sounds - these files will be uploaded directly to your media directory on Chatserve. Moving Props - You cannot move your server prop file directly, due to differences in the prop file format for different operating systems. To move your props from your current server to Chatserve, you would log onto your current palace and go through all your prop rooms, viewing all the props. This copies all the props to your client prop bag. You would then log onto your Chatserve palace and again go through all the prop rooms and view all the props. This will copy all the props from your client prop bag to your Chatserve palase server prop file.
