Q -Remove unused files - Removing unused image and sound files

This utility is meant to help you manage your disk space usage on the server. Sometimes you might delete or modify a room on your palace and leave pictures or sond files lying around that are no longer in use.

To use this utility, simply click on the Remove unused files link. The utility will then check all of the files in your media directory and compare them to the files referenced in your paserver.pat file. It will then present you with a list of files that do not seem to be referenced, plus a total of the disk space used by these files. This list may contain old files you're not using anymore or files you are just storing for future use. You can click on any file in the list to view it - or you can check the box next to any file to tell the utility to delete it.

Note: The process of building this list can take a few minutes to come up, particularly if you have a lot of files. Please be patient and wait for the list to come up.

When you have checked the files you want deleted, click the Delete Selected Files button at the bottom of the page to delete the files. When the deletion is complete, the utility will recalculate the list and tell you what files it deleted.
