Q - Restart and truncate - Restart your palace server with an empty pserver.prp file

This utility also does two things. First - it erases your current server prop file and replaces it with an empty new one (truncate is the name for the UNIX process of creating an empty file). Second - it attempts to resart your palace.

Use this utility if you cannot get your palace to start and you do not have a backup copy of your prop file or the backup is not working. (see the FAQ on prop file maintenance).
