Q - Stop server - Stop your palace server (use as last resort)

This utility does exactly what it says. It stops your palace server.

IMPORTANT NOTE - This is the WRONG way to shut down your server and it may damage your prop file or your pat file. The RIGHT way to shut down your palace is to log on and use the god/owner command shutdown.

This utility is intended only as a last resort to shut down your palace if it is in a hung state - keeping your palace from starting. A hung state means your palace did not shut down completely and some of the processes related to your palace are still running. You cannot log on to shut it down properly and it cannot start until it is shut completely down.

In the case of a hung state, this utility will usually clear the problem and allow your palace to start.
