Changing Your Password

Q - How do I Change Password ? - this utility lets you change the password for your shell. ftp and mail. This is also the password that you use to access your Utility Page. This is NOT your god/owner or wiz/operator password.

Just click on the Chnage Password link and it will take you to the Change Password form.

Type the new password you want into both spaces provided and then hit the Change Password button. Remember to hit the button or nothing gets changed

You can also select a random password from the pull down menu if you prefer. Public Heath Notice - These passwords are selected randomly by a deranged office worker in seattle that was caught worshipping Bill Gates at a small shrine in his cubicle. If you choose a password from the list, it overrides anything you enter in the blanks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Password changes do not take effect immediately in all places. Your email, ftp and shell passwoird will change immediately. Your User Utility Page password will change in a batch job that is run every 15 minutes. Remember the old password and use it until the change takes effect.
