Q - What accounts does Chatserve offer and what do they include ?

Chatserve offers two standard palace hosting packages - Basic and Premium. The main difference between these two account types is disk space and server capacity.

Now for the numbers - how much you get.....

• EMail - one default EMail address - username@accesscom.com
• EMail Spool - this is the file the shell server uses to store your mail as it comes in. If you get a lot of mail and don't clean out old mail, this can pile up. Almost all email programs provide some facility to remove old mail from the server. All accounts are given 10MB of disk space for EMail Spool.
• Disk Storage - You get either 100MB or 200MB depending on the type of account you have. This is the total of the files for your palace and your website.
• Maximum Connections - This is the number of people that are allowed to be connected to your palace at one time. It's controlled by the setup of your palace and we set it when your account is created.

Q - How can i tell how much disk space I'm using ? - You can find out how much disk space you're using through the User Utility Page

Q - What if I use too much ? - the server automatically emails you if you exceed your disk space allowance. This gives you the chance to go in and clean things up.
