Setting Server Permissions
These commands are typically available to Gods/Owners (unless you change it with the setrank command) and are used to control who can do what on your palace server.
If you forget how to use one of these command, you can get quick help by typing 'help permissions.
The quick list below will help you if you just need the syntax for the command and what it does. Click on any command set from the list below for details on that set of commands.
Access to commands - control who is allowed to use various commands
`setrank (command) [rank] - Check/Set the rank setting for (command).
`showranks - Display the rank settings for all commands.
Who can kill ? - old commands to control who can kill (remove) a user from the palace
`operatorkill [on|off] - Control whether operators may kill.
`playerkill [on|off] - Control whether members may kill.
`botkill [on|off] - Control whether cyborgs (user scripts) may kill.
Controlling Access - control who can get on your server and/or into particular rooms.
`allowoperators [on|off] - Control whether this server allows operators.
`guestaccess [on|off] - Control whether guest users are allowed on the server.
`operatorsonly [on|off] - Control whether the current room is operators-only.
Turning Features On/Off - control wether certain features/functions are allowed
`authoring [on|off] - Control whether operators and owners may author.
`memberrooms [on|off] - Control whether members may create their own rooms.
`nowhisper [on|off] - Control whether whispering is allowed.
`paint [on|off] - Control whether painting is allowed on this server.
`spoof [on|off] - Control whether or not members may spoof.
Cyborgs/Bots - control wether users can use cyborgs (scripts) on your server.
`bots [on|off] - Control whether cyborgs (user-originated scripts) are allowed.
Custom Props - control what props are allowed on your palace server
`customprops [on|off] - Control the use of custom props on this server.
`propcontrol [on|off|rank] - Control the prop control feature.
Type 1 Avatars - OBSOLETE commands for controlling avatars for use with the Palace Viewer.
`avatarformats [format...] - Control the permitted Type 1 avatar image formats.
`avatarmaxdimensions [ ] - Control the maximum allowed dimensions of a Type 1 avatar image.
`avatarmaxsize [size] - Control the maximum allowed size of a Type 1 avatar image.
