Managing Users on Your Palace
These commands are typically available to Wizards/Operators and Gods/Owners (unless you change it with the setrank command).
If you forget how to use one of these command, you can get quick help by typing 'help managing.
The quick list below will help you if you just need the syntax for the command and what it does. Click on any command set from the list below for details on that set of commands.
Listing Users - get a list of all the users in the room or anywhere on your palace
`list [-kopw] [(user)] - List information about all users in the current room.
`glist [-kopw] [(user)] - List information about all users currently on the server.
Responding to Pages - helping users that call for help
`er - Go to the room of last (non-operator) page sender.
`repage (msg) - Respond to the last (non-operator) page sender with message (msg).
Tracking Logons - keeping track of logons for a particular user
`track (user) - Track logons from a currently connected user.
`trackfor (dur) (name) - Track logons from a currently connected user.
`untrack (user) - Cease tracking a previously tracked user (see the `track command).
`trackip [(dur)] (ip) - Track all logins from an IP address.
Gagging - squelching a mouthy user
`gag (user) - Gag currently connected user (user).
`ungag (name) - Ungag a previously gagged user.
Prop Gagging - removing objectional props
`propgag (user) - Propgag a currently connected user.
`unpropgag (user) - Unpropgag a previously propgagged user (see the `propgag command).
Pinning - getting a users pinned down for a private chat about their behavior
`pin (user) - Pin (user) so that he or she can't move.
`unpin (user) - Release a previously pinned user (see the `pin command).
`pinprop [on|off] - Control usage of the pin prop.
Killing - removing a troublesome uers from your palace
`kill (user) - Kill a currently connected user.
`killfor (dur) (user) - Kill a currently connected user for a specified duration.
`death [(dur)] - Set the default death penalty.
Banning - gkeeping a troublesome user off your palace
`ban (user) - Permanently ban (user) from the server.
`banip [(dur)] (ip) - Ban all logins from an IP address.
`comment (who) (comment) - Add a comment to a ban record.
`unban (user) - Unban a previously banned user (see the `ban command).
`extend (who) (dur) - Modify the duration of an existing ban.
Ban List - viewing/managing the list of currently banned users
`banlist [-a][-t][(ip)|(name)] - Display a list of the currently banned users.
`purgebanlist - Purge elapsed ban records.
