Palace Commands - Getting Help

Commands in this set - `help

Command - `help Syntax - `help [what] - get help on a command or set of commands Arguments - `help has only one option (version 4.5 only) what - you can specify a category of commands or a specific command to get help on

Note - this command functions differently in version 4.4 and 4.5 of the server.

Version 4.4 - Simply type `help and you will get a long list of basic help for all commands. This is the only option under version 4.4. The list will include all commands you currently have access to and will change depending on wether you are a regular user, a wizard/operator or a god/owner.

Version 4.5 - You can just type `help as in version 4.4 - or you can ask for help on a specific command or set of commands.

General Help - If you just type `help you will get back a list of categories of commands to ask for help with. This is the default action.

Help with categories of commands - If you want a list of commands and basic help for one of the categories, type `help category

The available categories are...
`help user - Commands available to unprivileged users
`help managing - Commands for operators to manage the online population
`help configuration - Commands controlling how the server operates
`help permissions - Commands controlling what users can do inside this Palace
`help rooms - Commands for operators to maintain public rooms
`help mrooms - Commands for members to maintain member-created rooms
`help administration - Commands for server operations and administration
`help secure - Commands for maintaining server security
`help all - All commands (warning: this can be a large list)

Help with a spcific command - If you want help with a specific command - type `help 'command

Example `help 'kill.

The help you get with this option will be a little more detailed than what you get when you list a category or all.
